This show is a new community event for the South Bay. It will feature various pieces of art from Erik R. Soto Photography. Erik Soto is a leading photographer and resident of the South Bay. It is Erik R. Soto Photography’s intent to provide a monthly recurring free activity for the entertainment and growth of the community.

Summary:

• Select favorite art prints from Portraits, Landscapes, Nature, Weddings, Pets and other various photographic styles will be featured.

·         Delectable food and drinks will be also available from the Bakery Place.

·         Special Feature: One of our favorite Models / Clients will be featured and present to meet.

·         Free Raffle: One free art print will be raffled to a participating attendee.

·         Photography Inquiries: Erik Soto will be present to answer questions about the photographs or any personal questions regarding your photography equipment and ventures.

WHEN:

1^st Event is Saturday December 11, 2010 from 6 pm to 10 pm. The following monthly events are to be scheduled.

WHY:

It is our intent to provide an alternative weekend entertainment activity for the residents of the South Bay. We will display themes and pieces that everyone can enjoy. Each show will illustrate different subjects and provide a social environment that the entire community can attend and enjoy for the evening.

The Beautiful Armig - Torrance Portrait Photographer -

Extraordinary photos with this young lady. Her eyes are captivating and it was impossible to sort out favorites. There were just too many!!! Such an accomplished shoot. I couldn't have asked for better lighting conditions. All the ones by the window are all natural light, so secondary or flashes what-so-ever. This might be one of my favorites from the whole year. Suprise opportunities for GORGEOUS Photos

Recently I've had two amazing and rare opportunities with incredible light and luck for photos! We were scheduled for a 30th Anniversary and an Engagement Session but I was also lucky enough to squeak in some fast and awesome landscape shots right afterward each session.

These first three photographs were taken at Pt. Vicente and Pt. Fermin right after Ana & Dave's 30th Anniversary shoot. During that shoot I was lucky enough to make a new friend who gave me access to take photos at Pt. Fermin that the general public does not have available. It was a rare opportunity indeed!! A great many thanks (and a new poster) to the cool guy I met.

These last three shots were photographed at Redondo Beach Pier immediately after Tracy & Matt's engagement shoot. The lighting was incredible that day for their photos but also mine. I had to capture the images in the span of a minute or two immediately after their session. There was no time to fiddle around. Either I knew my stuff or I didn't.... I NAILED IT. I hope you enjoy them all!!

Lisa & Jesus's Wedding -*- Long Beach Wedding Photographer -*-

I know I have posted photos from this couple in the past, but I just had to share their wedding book. They are such a fun couple (as you can tell from a few of the photos). I mean who else would have a HOT PINK wedding cake? Their one year is quickly approaching so I thought I would recap on some of my favorite weddings. A couple that has now become good friends of mine. I couldn't be happier for them! Happy anniversary you guys!!

Lynda came to me for some very up close studio shots to show case her makeup skills and beautiful features. This is what we ended up with.

A beautiful over the shoulder shot. It really shows off her captivating eyes.

For this one she wanted a nice close up shot that show cased her facial features.

This is such a glamorous shot. The red lips really pop here.

Andrea & Craig's Wedding -*- Carson Wedding Photographer -*-

This was my first time photography at the Carson City Hall. It is a great space for outdoor weddings. It turned out to be a beautiful day perfect for a wedding. These two were definitely blessed with beautiful weather.  Congratulations Andrea & Craig!
